[With Mako busy shadowing the prince during the day, and Bolin still technically missing, Korra finds herself spending more and more time with Asami when she isn't settling back into the city. It's odd, getting her old room at the temple back again, but Korra decides it's familiar in a good way. When things have changed so much around her, she's all too glad to have a reminder of how things had been.

She watches Asami tinkering with some new model of the Satomobile, amusing herself with the numerous tools that have been laid out on the work table. Korra doesn't know what half of them are for, but mechanics aren't what she's here to talk about. Setting down the wrench she was toying with, Korra waits until Asami steps away from the car before she speaks up.]

So...I heard they renamed the park after me.

[Asami smiles as she hears Korra come in. Her friend's been back for a little while, but she's still excited to see her each time.

She puts down her tools and looks up from her work, turning her attention towards Korra.]

Yeah, they did. You earned it.

[Korra pushes some of the tools out of the way and then hoists herself onto the table, legs dangling over the edge.]

You think? It's just a huge...difference from when I left. [She huffs out a little laugh, mouth quirking up at the corner.] Remember the poll numbers? Hard to believe I went from 8% to...whatever you need to have the park named after you.

[She adds after a second, like she can't quite believe it:] I mean, there's a statue and everything. Never thought I'd see that happen.

If you'd... [Asami's eyes flick back to her work as she stifles the impulse to talk about what would have been if Korra had stayed. They don't need to get into that.]

You saved the world again, Korra. That'll win you a lot of points with people.

Didn't seem to work on them when I stopped Unalaq and Vaatu during Harmonic Convergence.

[Once upon a time, that sentence might have come out a lot more bitter, but Korra's long since accepted that there will always be people who dislike her, no matter what she does. Now she just sounds a little curious.]

Wonder what changed their minds this time.

I guess it took a couple times to sink in. [Asami's glad not to hear bitterness in Korra's voice, but she still moves to put a comforting hand on the avatar's shoulder.] And I think they do appreciate you stopping Vaatu, now. [Before, not so much.]

Maybe that's it. [Korra smiles at Asami, covering her friend's hand with her own for a moment.]

Probably helped that you made it a lot easier to get around the city when you redesigned the roads. It wouldn't have worked if things had stayed the same, you know.

[Asami's cheeks flush a little when Korra's hands touch hers, but she puts it down to the compliment.] I was happy to do it. Do you have a good feel for all of them, yet?
